Impressive reception/lounge area next to the bar which was comfortable to have a glass of your favourite. We travelled from Scotland on the May holiday weekend and the weather was glorious. Nice outside elevated terrace weather permitting. If you are prepared to travel the thirty minutes to the various locations in the lakes this is an ideal location and very close to the motorway for your journey home, but there is no intrusive noise from the motorway. Enjoy!
Bedroom was clean but decor a bit tired with peeling coverings.

My husband and I like to stay at the north lakes hotel because it is a wonderful halfway point when we are travelling down south and we know we will be given first class service. We also enjoy the homely log fires etc. This Hotel gives us everything we expect from a Hotel.
On arrival we sometimes feel that some areas are fully occupied with business people on mobiles and computers treating these areas as they would an office.
